Episodes 6 and 7 Update

Hey all, another update here and a second apology about the delay with which new episodes have been posted. Currently both Steve and Andrew, as well as our audio engineering friend Jon, have been slammed at work and operating on very differing schedules. Episode 5 is currently being edited and should be out soon. Although that review discussion of Insurgent is quite late it is still very entertaining as Steve and Andrew are joined by our friend Alex Dussault (@BigBrickPunch) who provides some great commentary on the nature of YA franchises.

Episodes 6 and 7 have been recorded and are at the beginning of the editing phase as well. In Episode 6 Andrew and Steve discuss the recent slew of movie trailers for upcoming releases like Batman vs. Superman and Star Wars Episode VII. In Episode 7 the guys are joined once more by Caleb Wrobel (@NottheMentalist) as they discuss some of the more noteworthy video games of the previous year with a few looks ahead to games of this year.

Oh and as for the now legendary Episode 4 it is still sitting in a bug-ridden limbo. At this point in time we have no idea when it will be posted or if it is salvageable. Jon Abarca is making a return trip to the East Coast in the near future and will hopefully be able to use his technical expertise to recover the audio file.

Thanks again for your patience.

Episodes Four and Five Update

Hello everyone and apologies about the substantial delay for Episode Three, which is up now (finally!). Just a quick update on the next two episodes. Unfortunately the technical difficulties which delayed Episode Three have also be plaguing Episode Four to the point that Andrew and Steve were worried the episode would be rendered unusable. For those two episodes we attempted to switch over to new recording software, but it was far worse than the basic Audacity program we've been using and a lot less user friendly. Our good friend and steadfast tech guru Jon Abarca believes he'll be able to recover the audio files however, so we have high hopes that Episode Four won't be lost to us.

In the mean time we have managed to get our first review completed; it is now on to the editing phase and should be out shortly. In Episode Five we invited our friend and FIST team member Alex Dussault to join us for the unpleasant experience of watching "Insurgent." If you listened to Episode Two, you'll know that Andrew was far from a fan of the first Divergent film and this one wasn't much better. That review will be forthcoming. Thanks for your patience!
